In the afternoon of September 22, 2019 at the Philippine Consulate General, the Pinoy Teachers Association in Shanghai formally took oath of office. It was officiated by the Honorable Wilfredo R. Cuyugan, Consul General of the Republic of the Philippines in Shanghai. The ceremony was made solemn as it was graced by a number of PCG in Shanghai personnel with the Consul General himself, with the officers, their families.
PITAS or Pinoy Teachers Association in Shanghai will serve as a bridge that will build better connection between and among the Philippine Consulate in Shanghai and the teachers in Shanghai. The vision of PITAS is beyond doubt, to be of service to the Filipino teachers community in Shanghai.
Bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, the officers are ecstatic to bring about their plans that would help to the teachers community in Shanghai. They are full of hopes and filled with creative plans for activities that would be of great advantage to the association.
PITAS is set to have their first General Assembly on the 12th of October 2019.
